2015 Remastered and Expanded Single Disc Edition of the classic 1970 fourth album from one of the very first British “Progressive” bands!

Released in June 1970, ‘Home’ followed on from the huge international success of the band’s debut single: ‘A Whiter Shade Of Pale’ and its follow-up 45: ‘Homburg’ and the superb ‘Procol Harum’, ‘Shine On Brightly’ and ‘Salty Dog’ albums.

Hailed by many fans as one of the finest albums released by the band, ‘Home’ saw the exquisite song writing of Gary Brooker and Keith Reid (although not a playing member, Reid was considered my many to be another member of the band) reach new heights on pieces such as: ‘Dead Man’s Dream’, the epic: ‘Whaling Stories’, ‘About To Die’ and more.
Produced by Chris Thomas, the album captured a new line-up of the band featuring: Gary Brooker (vocals / piano), Chris Copping (bass guitar / organ), Robin Trower (lead guitar) and B.J. Wilson (drums).

Newly Remastered from the Original Tapes, this Single CD Edition of ‘Home’ has been Expanded to include 1 Bonus Track – the US single edit of ‘Whisky Train’ which was released May 1970 and is Previously Unreleased on CD.

This Single CD Edition of ‘Home’ also includes an Illustrated Booklet that fully restores the Original Album Artwork and features a New Essay by PROCOL HARUM biographer Henry Scott-Irvine.
